New Volleyball Player The Newfoundland family moved to Toronto one summer. On the first day of school the eldest son, who was in grade 7, tried out for his school's junior Volleyball Team. When the family sat down to dinner that night the boy's father asked him how try-outs went. "Great", said the boy, "The coach told me I was the best blocker on the team." "That's because you're a proud Newfounder." the father replied. The son added, "The coach also said I could reach higher than any of the other boys and that I'll be the best spiker on the team too." "Thats cause you're a proud Newfounder." the father spoke with pride. "The coach also said I had the longest sideburns on the team." spoke the boy once more. "That is because you're nearly 19 years old." the dad added."
